This included auditing and optimising Google Business Profiles for local SEO, conducting digital PR outreach, and acquiring strategic links.

Google Business Profile Optimisation

  • Audited and SEO-optimised all 7 Google Business Profiles to improve local visibility and consistency

Digital PR Outreach

  • Submitted targeted media pitches as part of ongoing digital PR efforts—regularly monitored opportunities via email & third-party platforms. Submitted pitches where Remarkable Outdoor Living could serve as a relevant, authoritative source to earn backlinks

Digital PR Prospecting

  • Conducted digital PR prospecting by identifying relevant journalists and brainstorming a campaign concept for outreach

Link Acquisition

Led all link acquisition efforts during my time at Remarkable Outdoor Living, with a focus on quality, relevance, and sustainable SEO value.

26 Strategic Optimised Link Placements

Acquired 26 high-quality backlinks over time, prioritising strategic & optimised link placements

  • Carefully vetted each linking domain to ensure it was topically relevant and posed minimal risk, prioritising safe, contextually appropriate placements
  • Also made sure each domain met RMKB’s minimum required standards, like having a certain Domain Authority, or having a minimum amount of traffic
  • Optimised anchor text to ensure it was natural, meaningful, and readable even in isolation
  • Ensured the surrounding content around each link was contextually relevant and written in a way that avoided spam signals or forced insertions
  • Selected specific websites, blog posts, and articles for link placement that made editorial sense for the brand and topic, enhancing the credibility of the link itself

5 Additional Brand Partnership Backlinks

Secured 5 additional high-value backlinks through a brand partnership with Couture Jardin, listed on their Store Locator page as part of Remarkable’s exclusive Australian retail relationship

  • Originally advocated against a global footer link idea (from a stakeholder) due to spam concerns – this approach was also not preferred by the Couture Jardin team, so they agreed to proceed with a placement on the store locator page instead
  • Reviewed the store locator link once live and requested adjustments – from memory, this included removing a nofollow tag and improving the anchor text for SEO value
