Project Overview

I managed the SEO strategy, briefing, and publishing process for the vast majority of blog content published during my time at Remarkable Outdoor Living.

Please note: I inherited a pipeline of pre-selected blog topics; my focus was ensuring every new or updated blog was SEO-optimised, even when topics or ideas were set before my involvement with Remarkable Outdoor Living. Additionally, some blog posts on the RMKB site were retroactively attributed to the wider team, including me, after a staff departure, though I had no involvement in some of those specific pieces. The only blogs I had involvement in are listed below.

Revamped Legacy Blog Posts

  • Revamped & SEO-optimised 7 existing blog posts that were previously underdeveloped, poorly structured, and not SEO-optimised, in some cases rebuilding them entirely while retaining the original URL. Each revamp was guided by the existing target keyword and topic.

Created New Blog Content

  • Led the creation and publishing of 2 new SEO-optimised blog posts from scratch, managing the full process from keyword research and briefing to content review and final upload

Managed Blog Production Workflow

Managed the end-to-end production process for blog posts:

  • Conducted keyword research and competitive analysis

  • Created detailed blog briefs and submitted them for internal team review

  • Actioned feedback and passed briefs to the content writer
  • Reviewed drafted content, implemented SEO improvements, and made editorial edits

  • Uploaded finalised blogs to Shopify with SEO best practices applied (metadata, internal links, headings, etc.)

Reviewed Team-Written Content

  • Added value to additional blog content by reviewing posts written/managed by other team members, ensuring they were SEO-optimised, aligned with best practices, and structured with the reader experience in mind.
