Project Overview

The primary aim of this project was to elevate the online presence of ‘Zuzanii Designs’ through the implementation of advanced tracking mechanisms, enhancing marketing effectiveness. The focus was on incorporating Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics, and Facebook Pixel on the client’s WordPress website, complemented by on-page SEO optimization.

Tracking Tools

Using Google Tag Manager:

  • Set up Google Analytics. Google Analytics is essential for tracking user behaviour on your website.
  • Set up conversion tracking for Google Ads campaign performance, providing insights into user actions after seeing the client’s ads.

Using Facebook/Meta Ads Manager:

  • Added Facebook Pixel in preparation for running Facebook/Instagram ads, enabling conversion tracking and overall user behaviour after they see the client’s ads on Facebook & Instagram.

These tracking tools, especially Google Analytics, facilitate future data-driven decision-making and continuous website optimization.

On-Page/Technical SEO

  • Executed on-page optimizations by optimizing title tags, descriptions, and headers.
  • Utilized YoastSEO during content creation to ensure adherence to optimization guidelines.
  • Implemented internal linking between pages to enhance the interconnected strength of the website.
  • Incorporated targeted keywords, secondary, and long-tail keywords to improve search engine visibility.
  • Optimized and added alt text to all images, contributing to enhanced SEO.
  • Ensured concise URL optimization for an improved user experience.
  • Conducted in-depth keyword research using SEMRush, Ubersuggest, and Google Keyword Planner.
  • Performed competitive analysis and audits to inform strategic site structure decisions.
  • Published 4 SEO-optimized blog posts targeting primary and long-tail keywords.

  • Ensured optimized copywriting on all pages to target specific keywords.
  • Implemented a responsive design for seamless viewing on mobile and tablet devices.
  • Optimized page speed by leveraging WordPress plugins and tracking metrics with GTmetrix, ensuring an efficient and seamless user experience for ‘Zuzanii Designs’ website visitors.

Results

  • The implementation of the Google Tags and Facebook Pixel significantly improved tracking capabilities for ad campaigns.
  • Enabled tracking of user behaviour via Google Analytics, providing the client with valuable insights for website performance evaluation and optimization decisions in the future.

This comprehensive approach to tracking and on-page SEO has undoubtedly contributed to the success of the project, enhancing both user engagement and campaign performance.
