Project Overview

This project aimed to enhance the online visibility of ‘Zuzanii Designs’ through the launch of a “Surface Pattern Design” focused blog. This included the publication of four SEO-optimized blog posts.

I crafted the entire website and blog from the ground up, leveraging the power of WordPress CMS and carefully selected themes to bring Zuzanii Design’s vision to life.

Content Development

  • Leveraging my expertise in SEO, I conducted extensive keyword research to identify optimal article topics, creating a structured outline for the best-optimized content.
  • Simultaneously, I relied on the client’s insights in the chosen niche, “Surface Pattern Design,” to collaboratively craft SEO-optimized articles.
  • This approach ensured the content was not only well-optimized but also enriched with accurate and genuinely helpful information.
  • Demonstrating effective communication, I actively engaged the client in the SEO content plan, incorporating her valuable insights, anecdotes, and unique perspectives into the overall content creation process.

  • Used ChatGPT to enhance the readability and structure of the content, formatting the information into a more robust and engaging format

SEO Optimization

  • Incorporated on-site SEO analysis, checking for proper title and H1 tags, meta descriptions, content and keyword density, alt image text, and response codes.
  • Utilized SEMRush and Moz to research competitors’ link profiles and organic SERP presence.
  • Conducted SERP competition research, found long-tail keywords, and brainstormed lateral keywords using SEMRush.
  • Built keyword-focused content based on research and optimized existing content for SEO.
  • Utilized Screaming Frog software for in-depth technical analysis, ensuring optimization of title tags, images, and site structure.
  • Employed Yoast SEO to meticulously optimize articles for SEO, placing a specific emphasis on achieving optimal keyword density and adherence to SEO best practices.
  • Formatted content for optimal user experience and retention rate.

Performance

  • The published blog posts have met expected SEO performance, with steady improvements in SERP rankings within just over 2 months.

  • Notably, the implemented SEO strategies have propelled the client to the cusp of the first page on Google in only 2 months, with the article “How to Make Money as a Surface Pattern Designer” currently positioned at an impressive 11th place in the search rankings. – (as of today “05/02/2024”)
