Project Overview

The primary goal of this project was to create a robust SEO-optimized e-commerce platform for my client’s surface pattern design products, with a specific focus on ranking for the keyword “surface pattern design” in the Australian market. The client aimed to showcase and sell products like flower phone cases, floral pillowcases, flower mugs, A5 notebooks, and more. The challenge was unique as the client did not have any physical inventory themselves, instead, their products were listed on a third-party print-on-demand website (Redbubble).

I crafted the entire website from the ground up, leveraging the power of WordPress CMS and carefully selected themes to bring Zuzanii Design’s vision of a dynamic and visually stunning surface pattern design showcase to life.

The client did not have any physical inventory themselves, instead, their products were already listed on a third-party print-on-demand site (Redbubble), leading to a unique challenge.
I created a solution by linking her website’s product pages to her Redbubble store via the “Buy on Redbubble” button shown below.

SEO and Site Structure

Conducted in-depth keyword research using SEMRush, Ubersuggest, and Google Keyword Planner.
Conducted competitive analysis and audits to inform site structure decisions.

On-Page Optimization

Implemented a comprehensive SEO strategy, optimizing title tags, meta descriptions, and header tags.
Utilized secondary and long-tail keywords to enhance the website’s visibility.
Optimized and added alt text to all images.
Implemented internal linking between pages for better navigation.
Ensured concise URL optimization for improved user experience.

Published 4 SEO-optimized blog posts targeting both primary and long-tail keywords.
Created pages for home, shop, about, contact, Terms & Conditions, privacy policy, and blog.
Ensured optimized copywriting on all pages for targeted keywords.
